PPA's Southeast District has just opened. IPC and our own GPPA competition are just around the corner. This is a great opportunity to have your images critiqued prior to submission and learn more to prepare your images for print submission!
This class will teach you the ins and outs of print competition using The 12 Elements. We will cover each element and the aspects and importance of each one as they relate to print competition AND everyday work. We will also cover other aspects such as print vs. digital and understanding the thought process how a juror evaluates an image. Dennis Hammon, 26 year PPA affiliate juror, and Cheri Hammon, will share with you what they have learned over 75 years of combined experiences to help you better understand and demystify print competition. Plus, there will be a fun surprise twist for the class as well! You don't want to miss it!
The workshop will be held at Richards Studio in Sharpsburg GA, or at the Sharpsburg REC center down the street, depending on how many students sign up. Meeting will include a box lunch. Please be sure to bring your laptop and up to 10 images to be critiqued. Must be on a thumb drive for easy access.
