Schedule of Canyon Events

Saturday July 16th

2:00pm - 8:00pm -  Registered VIP Attendees can arrive at the campsite to setup their spot for the night and to hang out. 

The gate does close at 9pm.

8:00pm - 10:00pm - We will hike into the canyon for our hands on light painting walk lead by Javon Longieliere. Sunset is estimated to be at 8:49pm. We recommend  you bring a flashlight, headlamp or lantern you can easily carry as it will be dark when we hike back up to our campsite.

Sunday July 17th

8:00am - 10:15am - We will hike the canyon loop trail with a few models for fun nature and posed images. We recommend you wear sunscreen, bug spray, comfortable shoes and lightweight clothing as it will be warm! 

10:30am - 1:00pm  Brunch, Games  & Networking back at camp 




Map of the Park

We are in Pioneer Campsite 3 (by the red star). It is the very first gravel road on the left, across from the guard house after you enter the park. The site has limited electricity, covered & screened meeting area and 2 bathrooms. (see images below)


The black dotted line is the Canyon Loop Trail which is the overview of the park and where you can enjoy views of the canyons. please stay behind fences and off the fragile canyon edge when shooting! We plan to do this trail on Sunday morning for our nature hike and shoot with a few models. It is an easier trail and has the old rusted cars. scenic overlooks and forested areas as shown in the images above. 


The solid yellow line are the interior Canyon 1-9 Trails - we plan to do our light painting in the canyon area on Saturday night in canyon 8 or 9 closest to our campsite. 




Pioneer Campsite #3

Covered  & Screened Pavilion with electric, an indoor charcoal / wood burning grill, sink & prep area, 2 bathrooms, outdoor fire pit and room for up to 40 tents.
