Five years ago, Michael Boatright made the decision to tilt his creative portraiture and fine art business back to its roots-returning to the film photography he learned many decades ago. He took creative control of his images back-away from the microprocessors that had been making all the decisions for him-unleashing his dormant artistic powers-all without a large, complex darkroom. Yeah, he still shoots events and some client work using his DSLR, but even that got better after switching his brain back to the magical world of analog photography-and he spends WAY less time in post-processing! Are you ready to unleash your own silver streak? This workshop will prepare you to shoot and process your first roll of film-whether it be, "ever" or "in a really long time"-with a little fun along the way.

No film camera? No Problem! Michael will have extras. If you have your own, no matter what model bring it and film with you! If you have an old light meter or light meter app (on your phone), bring it too. And if you have any other analogue equipment (changing bag, developing tanks, cameras, light meters, etc.) that you would like some extra practice/guidance using, bring those with you. Don't worry about chemicals.

They're the same ones you used way back in school (not THOSE chemicals!), but they will be provided.
