We Need Your Articles!

WooHoo! Time to get rolling on the Blog/Focus issue. The board has decided to go with a blog base publication as opposed to a magazine style 'Focus'; and it's publication is part of my new responsibilities as Director at Large. I'm all new to this end of the horse y'all so be patient! I am looking for articles, photos, ideas, inspiration. What are you doing that is unique to your business and would like to share?

What's In It For Me?

The past few weeks I have been asked "What's in it for me" in regards to GPPA membership. While I understand the responsibility one has to themselves and their budgets in asking this question, I have to wonder if it's the only question to be asking. I propose a 2nd question that is just as important - "What do you have to contribute?". The dynamics of any great organization demands a back and forth flow of energy, ideas, input, sharing, growing, helping one another. So I ask - What do you have to contribute to GPPA? We need your input, we need your attendance, simply we need you to be active in the organization you have invested in, we are investing a lot into you. What you are willing to put into this world is exactly what you will get out of it. So again, what are you contributing to GPPA?

Lightroom Seminar

LOL! A great class, a great combination of photographers. A big thank you to Dennis Echols for his graciousness for hosting the event in his beautiful home studio. Stephen shared a lot of great 'getting started' info on LR4. Can't wait to practice what he taught today and learn more on November 5th.
